- Introduction
-
The Visual Media & Design major cultivates designers who can work in both digital and analog mediums and have a far-reaching vision for their creative activities.
The well-rounded curriculum features two parts: communication design and digital content design.
In addition to the “traditional” field of visual design, students acquire three-dimensional molding skills as well as design coding skills (e.g. modeling, structure, Cinema 4D, web publishing).
Portfolio evaluations are regularly conducted and high-performing alumni are invited to mentor-mentee seminars to help students gain a competitive edge in the job market.
The major also helps students who are interested in entrepreneurship, such as designs based on media literacy and other online open markets
