- Graduation : To graduate (receive a bachelor's degree), you must fulfill all of the following graduation requirements (credits, graduation comprehensive exam, and graduation certificate).
- Completion : If you don't fulfill all graduation requirements, but you have enough credits, then you'll still receive a completion certificate.
(Completed students do not have student status and can graduate if they fulfill the graduation requirements)
Graduation Requirements① Credits
- Completion of at least 8 full-time semesters (10 for architecture majors).
Transfer students must have completed at least 4 semesters.
- Graduation Credits
- General university students: 130 credits (120 credits for College of Humanities and Social Sciences, 164 credits for architecture major) or more
- College of Technology students: 140 credits (130 credits for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and 175 credits for the Architecture major (170 credits for students enrolled after 2007)) or more.
- Those who have fully met the detailed completion criteria by graduation requirement table (department, number, type of admission)
- Transfer (different major) students: Must complete departmental prerequisite courses.
Graduation Requirements ② Graduation Comprehensive Examination
The graduation comprehensive examination consists of a graduation examination, graduation thesis, laboratory report, practical work (work or design), etc., designated by the departmental evaluation committee.
Eligibility
- General University students: 98 credits (90 credits for College of Humanities and Social Sciences, 130 credits for Architecture major) or more
- College of Technology students: 105 credits (98 credits for College of Humanities and Social Sciences, 140 credits for architecture majors) or more
- Graduation Comprehensive Examination for Double Majors: Students seeking a double degree must complete the major credits required by their respective departments and the College of Arts and Sciences and pass the graduation comprehensive examination.
- Failed students are allowed to retake the exam.
Graduation Comprehensive Examination Subjects and Types
- The graduation comprehensive examination is conducted by selecting at least three and no more than five subjects from among the major subjects of the department and receiving approval from the evaluation committee.
- Depending on the characteristics of the department, thesis, laboratory report, practical work (artwork or design), etc., may be substituted for the graduation comprehensive examination.
Timing and Application Submission
- The comprehensive graduation examination is held each academic year in May and October.
- A person who intends to take the graduation comprehensive examination must apply for the comprehensive graduation examination to the department (division) head through the evaluation committee within the prescribed period.
Evaluation
- The Graduation Comprehensive Examination is graded out of 100 points per subject, with a passing grade of 40 or more points and an overall average of 60 or more points.
(However, subjects with a score of 60 or higher may be exempted from retesting) - 소정의Your passing grade will remain valid if you do not complete the required number of courses.

- The thesis advisor reviews the submitted thesis plan and guides the student through the entire process of writing the thesis at least three times.
- If you want to change your thesis plan, you must submit it within one month after the initial submission with the approval of your thesis advisor.

- The thesis must be written in Korean but may include a mixture of English and Traditional Chinese (Hanja).

- Submit the thesis with confirmation from the thesis advisor by the end of October of the previous year for early graduates and the end of May of the following year for late graduates, and the judges will determine the results as Pass or Non-Pass.

Submission
Graduation certifications are due no later than three weeks before the end of the regular semester (1st semester: end of May, 2nd semester: end of November).
Other
- Double majors: Only the graduation certificate of the original major department is required (a graduation certificate of the double major department is not needed).
