The Electronic Engineering major, in consideration of the direct correlation between the specialization of industry and the advancement of academics/technology, aims to produce workers who are knowledgeable, creative, diligent, and ethical through an IT curriculum that is effective and future-driven.
The faculty’s research areas include semiconductor technology, communications/antennae technology, signal processing technology, computer technology, AI technology, biotech, and healthcare technology.
Electronic engineering skills have a significant impact on diverse applied fields, especially due to the increase in demand for such skills by society in general.
Furthermore, it is an area that gives Korea a competitive edge in the global market. Korean companies have maintained their dominance thanks to their advanced technologies for semiconductors and smartphones, thus contributing significantly to the Korean economy.
To cultivate competent future workers, the major carries out governmentfunded projects, increases the size of its scholarships, and conducts programs that link education with tangible employment opportunities.
