The Art Jewelry & Gemology major cultivates jewelry artists who are able to use professional-grade technologies to satisfy consumers’ demand for constantly-changing aesthetic standards and cultural diversity. The curriculum encourages blending knowledge in multiple fields to ensure the maximum range of creativity, as evidenced by courses offered on metal crafts, jewelry crafts, gemstone design, and 3D technologies. Students are encouraged to apply their skills to diverse fields and take an active interest in culture and the arts so that they can become leaders of the global jewelry industry.
